Not what happened in Princess Tutu and here from my understanding. [You only feel what you gain. Horizon is starting at zero (no emotions).] Tutu was particularly evil in that point. In fact, that question was asked more than once in Princess Tutu and was what both MCs in Tutu had to overcome.
