The silent part just reminded me of Fairly Odd Parents' charade episode. Except this was more driven with Music only and no Sound Effects. Pretty cool.
I must admit.. I agree that this ep felt like it had a short hand in the animation. Though in it's case it was a bit more direct with the dialogues at least which was ok. Still kinda surprising that it was kinda sub par animation considering the K-ON duo handled it.
Makes me wonder if K-ON! movie hasn't gone gold yet that they had to cut Horiguchi some slack and had to use more rookies in the roster.
