well if you have read far enough, I think aki's explanation of their sibling love really gives me the idea that taboo itself is due to the stigma of ill concieved children. If we look at past generations most of the time people were allowed to marry cousins. it was the fact that "curses" defects and a whole plethora of things that give us so much reason to fear sibling love. In this day and age, if two people love each other what should stop them from being together? In the past two decades a flood gate of sexual promiscuity and sexual freedom should in fact change our notions.
