My favorite deaths:

Amuro and Char. Sure Amuro pushing back Axis was kind of ridiculous, but damn was it heroic! And when 'beyond the time' started playing, the loss of two of my favorite characters really kicked in.

Spoiler for 0080:

BERNIE!!!!! , his death definitely left me the saddest out of any Gundam death

Spoiler for SEED/Destiny:

MWU!!!! AWESOME DEATH, but then Destiny had to come along and retcon it

Gil, calm and collected even as he was dying

Spoiler for 00:

Lockon, great death scene, with the flashback of his family and haro's haunting calls, damn was it emotional

Lichty/Chris, I didn't have much attachement to those two, but their death scene really left me saddened.
