I couldn't shake how freaking creepy this entire episode felt, and how it might have been a jab at the otaku populace who are borderline obsessed with Mio. I don't even like Mio and I felt bloody horrible for her during the entire tea party and her poem reading had me wondering why they even put that in to begin with.
The performance made up for it, though I was under the impression that it would have been another session of "PLAY MUSIC IN THE BACKGROUND WHILE WE SHOW STILL SCENES OF THE SCHOOL YOU DON'T ACTUALLY GIVE A SHIT ABOUT". I was impressed that the animation actually changed in tune to the music, good shit.
