Hallo, I'm back.
I think the BRS anime being a train wreck is the reason why Mato is not doing relatively well in Japan. A number of shows that are eligible in ISML and 2channel this year either do generally well in the former but not in the latter or vice versa. None of these characters are K-ON! quality (i.e. solid all around, as with 2010). The fans want a series that makes a lot of sense and is well thought out. The BRS anime didn't deliver on that, and this is your result.
