For best series I thought this year would be a toss-up between Mushishi and Ping Pong, than realized HxH counted for this year. A good adaptation of a good manga, spun out over 100+ episodes: how can a good 1-cour series compete with that?
All in all a good year for sports- and comedy series, although I'm a bit sad the great little series Tonari to Seki-kun didn't make it in the comedy section. I'm disappointed that the Monogatari series and Kuroshitsuji 3 didn't make it in any category. And I concur with the people who say to try and watch Kaguya-hime before voting. However groundbraking Madoka was, Kaguya-hime is unique in it's own way.
