I confess I find the notion that it's somehow unfair that H x H is finally eligible for this popularity contest pretty laughable. You either like a show or you don't - does one seriously think a voter who doesn't think H x H is good enough after 50 episodes will change their mind after 148? If anything 148 episodes gives you that many more chances to do something to piss viewers off - which means that if a show like H x H can manage to maintain a high enough standard for that long that people will vote for it, it's that much more impressive and praiseworthy.
There's a reason very few long-running shows manage to remain widely-admired. H x H has a harder job here, not an easier one.
