So, we're movingon to our... fantasy setting, right?
Well, to make sure everything is fair and balanced, I was thinking something along the lines of one element per person. Even though the elements all come from nature, rather than the individual (Or however you want to think on it), a person can only use one. Similar to how the Devil fruits in one Piece work. If you tried to access a second element, you'd wind up splitting in pieces as they fought for dominance.
Another idea: For variety's sake, which elements are we having? The classical Greek elements are Fire, Water, Earth, and Air. e could go with those four, and try to use them all in different ways, or include some interesting ideas for other elements. Something of a contract with different gods. (Plays into my DF power analogy as well.)
Also, what about the story? What exactly are we planning on having happen?
