I had a feeling it was going to go down like this. Rygart always used fighting with Zess as a last resort he would try to talk to him first. This time none of that happened and Rygart was ready to fight all the doubts he had he put behind him and he was focused like hes never been before. The min Zess said he would kill Sigyn that was it.
Rygarts training since he started operating Del has been focused more on hand to hand close combat, its not a surprise hes becoming more proficient. Zess stated "no openings" this is what happens when you are focused and have doubt about what you are doing. Zess is going to have to rethink his strategy fighting him he better be ready to kill Rygart because if hes not it might not end well.
It also seem like Del got a speed boost or the legs were strengthened. Zess looked surprised at how fast Del moved. Either way Zess got owned, so bad that he had to say who are you. Short chapter but im satisfied due to see that arrogant bastard taken apart by someone who he deemed was inferior.
