Calling Quinlow...I see no point for a fight, however. No matter how you look at it, SS is on the right side of maintaining balance, and no matter how much the guys over at #12 squeal about the balance shifting, fact remains that only a zanpakuto can cleanse hollows, and people have been killing them a lot more than "purifying" them. OTOH, new guys are new, so they can't take revenge for the quincies that were killed, since they're definitely not the same species - unless they themselves are the souls of those quincies after being reborn as hollows. Of course, there is the matter of Mayuri single-handedly killing them all in his lab, as stated in his fight with Ishida, sooo....
