In the novel, there are scenes of Erica waltzing into class late and drawing plenty of unnecessary attention to Godou. In order to prevent that, Godou made it his new daily routine to wake Erica up so that she goes to school on time. Of course, going to a girl's home early in the morning gets him in trouble with his sister instead.

Personally, I'd prefer if the anime kept more of the source material, rather than make up scenes like phone shopping.

And having Yuri kidnapped in the bath is far less dramatic than the original scene in a deserted building with the sudden discovery of Voban's victims. Then again, I suppose a bath scene is a calculated move on the studio's part for increased sales...
