After having seen episode 1, I knew better what to expect for episode 2. The "what the?" factor was gone, but other than that, everything else was just as zany fun. I liked the second story slightly better than the first. The mother and daughter were more fun than the rival detective with the Inaba obsession who annoyed me a little.
Normally this doesn't happen, but I have trouble keeping up with the pace of the subtitles at times. The dialogue is very rapid fire. The print comes and goes so quickly, I didn't have time to see what was happening on screen because I was always focused on the text. I probably missed some of the sight gags as a result. I had this problem with episode 1, but it seemed worse with episode 2.
