As far as I know its a real super power. Just takes a more scientific approach/explanation to it than typical manga where the ice person just makes ice pillars, ice swords, freezes water etc

I'm convinced Nishio has been doing his research on WSJ and a number of other things as well. Kumagawa is the perfect role for making fun of the magazine though.

But Koga notes, that this way, the Minus would still be kept in their vicious circle.
Therefore, the School Council decides to continue the tournament against the Minus!

The Minus are NOT happy, especially Emukae, who rots away the entire building and declares to be Koga´s enemy...

Looks like the next fight is Koga vs Emukae.

I wonder just how big the building was? When she rotted the other part of the school building it seemed to tire her out. I wonder if she actually isn't winded this time around. Granted she fought Hitomi before she brought the building down.

So we have the girl who decomposes matter at a molecular level fighting a girl with regenerative capabilities. Emukae supposedly isn't the combat type so she is going to have to fight smarter and use whatever battlefield they have to her advantage. Otherwise, Koga should be too much for her to handle alone unless Koga herself isn't fully healed up.

After finishing the 2010 issues really strongly (5th, 7th, 6th & 8th for Issues 49-52) Medaka is 3rd from last for Issue 1 of 2011. Good news is that Issue 2 will have a color page for Medaka. More surprised at Mago being 2nd last... and Beezlebub 6th last.. at least Sket Dance was 4th highest this week..

Its a so-so week for me. Its not like Mago is one of my top 5 WSJ series and I haven't been displeased with parts of Beelzebub for a while now. Sket Dance was one of the more pleasing things this week.

I'm anxious to see next week's color for Medaka Box though.
