Hmm, the whole thing with an adorable stuffed lion walking through fearsome purgatory is kind of...dissonant. It's interesting imagery, but very dissonant. (Can stuffed animals make GAR faces? Because that's what I kept imagining XD.)
But mostly, yeah, it was a blown-up and kind of sympathetic confirmation of what most noticed in the anime. Poor Sakutarou
