Although I would agree that this is more or a culture thing. Stereotypical views in East Asian country is that women should get married before they hit 30, and when they get married, they usually quit their job and stay home as home-maker. The popular view is that any women(men as well) who can't get married by then is relationship-challenged and usually face social pressures from their parents and peers...
