The first part of the movie was really original and good, made me expect something really great. But the second part was... pretty much season 2 all over again, which isn't necessarily a bad thing per se (depending on whether you liked it or not), but definitely disappointing when I was expecting more.
Some spoilers :
Spoiler for Movie spoilers:
- It was great seeing Tieria fight a little again, and I was genuinely surprised to see the Seravee ;
- Setsuna's fate is... interesting. But I don't understand why they set up the whole thing with Feldt if was going to end like this;
- Much to my disarray, Saji's role in the movie was really kept at a minimal, which make one wonder why he was ever needed in the grand scheme of things to begin with;
- Descartes was a huge disappointment. They made a pretty big deal of him in the previews, magazines, etc... and even in the first part of the movie, just to off him like that ? Why bother ?
- Graham was better than in season 2, but all of his lines and his fate were SO predictable.
To those wondering, the only characters we know of after the 50 years time leap are Setsuna (ELS'ed - traveled through space, Marina - old and blind, Klaus - President of the Federation, Tieria - Keeping an eye on Innovation, currently physically onboard the Sumeragi spaceship

When the heck did Klaus become the president of the ESF? He was only mentioned as the leader of the fleet that carries Innovators dedicated to exploring space.
