Despite her failure to secure Makishima, Sybil determines that it is not wise to execute Akane who knows its secret, stating that eventually Sybil System will go public in order to evolve the society and until then, Akane is very important. Akane tells Sybil that even if not now, one day someone will pull the plug of Sybil. Responding to Akane's 'declaration of war', Sybil laughs.

The episode ends with a new inspector reporting for duty just like Akane way back in episode 1. And it seems that certain part of the episode's ending was cut and said to be aired next week.

The ending seemed what I expected but there's some scenes that I didn't want to evolve in the first place though. It isn't really on the level of my previously loved Urobuchi work, but it's still okay. One thing that makes me excited is the new Inspector's arrival, and I'm curious to see how well-endowed her appearance seems to look plus her character traits. I really feel bad somewhat, and I really hope Yayoi will get her spinoff series (in the same line as Fujiko Mine and The Unlimited) from now on as well.
