I'll admit my VN experiences aren't especially varied. It's just that, well...

Spoiler for Ever 17/Steins;Gate compare and contrast, may have Ever 17 spoilers:

There's two big ones:
-The finales of both are time travel scenarios that involve saving someone, then fooling someone else into thinking that person actually did die because the timeline won't change otherwise.
-Both end with the guy who likes to fool around and the classical tsundere girl being reunited.

And a couple minor ones too:
-One of the girls turns out to be the daughter of another character.
-Characters go to great lengths to save the seemingly out of it girl - who can actually see some of what happened in other timelines - from a gruesome end.

Like I said, certainly S;G doesn't rip off Ever 17, but when I look at all that I can't help but think it may have been a major influence.
