Oh, it's not a bad game by any means. It's just way too short and way to vague and the time limit is way too soon (3 years instead of the usual 5) so you're basically racing against the clock from the start. I'd have preferred to take my time, get to know my characters, get to play with missions and synthesis and stuff first, or at least to be given the option of continuing once the credits roll. Atelier fans should give it a try; I can't recommend it to anyone else.
I finished Grandia II this afternoon. Torn between starting Shadow Hearts, giving La Pucelle another shot, starting Arc the Lad EoD or finishing FFX-2. I think I'll take a break for a while.
