I came into the series not knowing a damn thing. I was actually expecting to watch a rather dour and melodramatic story given a possibly taboo subject matter.
But with episode 2, I got a very dynamic and often hilarious show that treats its subject matter with respect but still remaining fun and light. I think it's all the better for it.
