Spoiler for Afterword:

-Because he was a new writer, Takehaya wrote the series with the possibility of ending after a few volumes in case it got cancelled.

-Just in case, he filled the earlier volumes foreshadowing future volumes without telling anyone, even his editor.

-There were 3 other endings planned for volumes 3, 8 and 13 in case it got cancelled.

-It wasn't until volume 13 or 14 when he knew the series was popular enough that he could write it to the end.

-He considers it a miracle that he was allowed to write the series to the end. He estimates there was less than a 1% chance.

-He wrote the ending during Kotarou's 2nd year because he couldn't guarantee that he could write through his 3rd year.

-Vol 29 is just the ending to the main story. Volume 30+ will be detailing Kotarou's 3rd year, his relationship with the girls and is essentially the Epilogue.

-Vol 30 in particular will continue the Forthorthe/Japan story arc. Mackinley and Nalfa, the exchange student from Forthorte will be the focus characters.

-Vol 30 will be out in March 2019 for the series 10th anniversary

-Vol 32+ may be about stories of the infinite Kotarou's
