Well I cant read it so I'm only going by what others have said and gooral said awaken and fight... now it wasnt quite clear if he meant they will fight that way or are about to at chapters end like you say but since that is all he said besides mention of Clare I can only guess that they do awaken this chapter or the chapter is a bunch of nothing with two unrevealed awakenings at the end of it where some how Clare gets mentioned along the way...
At least that was my train of thought last post...
