Hello,
I am looking for some titles to some software for windows 2000 or up that can split or extract video and audio. I would like to extract anime intros and endings as new a file containing both video and audio in whatever format (ogg, avi, etc) and make a file with just the audio(wav, mp3).

I've tried a few programs that worked sometimes. TMPGEnc could do both but only on some really old codec formated files and if I try to set the start and end points to be at the ending part, I get no sound out of the file. If tried what seems to be some generic avi splitters that didn't work to great with keeping sync.

Could someone please send some information my way. It would be much appreciated.
