In Mahou Shoujo Site, IMHO, to me it seems that a male, Kaname in this case, taking hold or stealing magical girl powers is unheard of by the admins. Nevertheless, if boys acquire magical girl powers, they receive those powers but without transforming into both a magical girl and gender.

It brings up a good question - if guys and girls can equally use the sticks' powers, then why do the admins only focus on giving sticks to/harvesting lifeforce from girls (and transgenders)? You'd think they'd want to diversify their energy sources with guys as well.
Also, the white-haired girl in stasis has just been introduced in the latest manga chapter. So she's not entirely anime-original anymore.
