Thus making this moment more RyuujixAmi than it was in novels (even though the novel position in the scene was more suggestive, Ryuuji almost ahd his hands around Ami's waist while Ami looked like pinning him to the floor. In anime it is much less sugestive but is more implying AmixRyuuji than in novels...
