Spoiler for the episode lol:
Ouch, losing both Krauss and Shkanon teamwork kind of sucks :/. I mean seeing the entire crew fight for their lives against the goats even for just a little bit would've been nice. You could argue that in retrospect it was kind of pointless, but there was a real good feeling in the "fight for your lives" aspect of it. Plus Jessica has to get her fists from somewhere.
Still, if they would've done anything at all, they would've had to have done it poorly with this pacing, so I can't say after watching the episode that it was really that much of a loss.
Real minuses would be the complete lack of music at the beginning, Battler disappearing having a weak impact, and (more than) a few bouts of lazy animation.
Liked "We are...humans", GAPUGAPUGAPU, Gaap's face, the collision, Jessica's phone call (Kyrie's was a little lacking without the urgency), and the Golden Land at the end.
Probably not reasonable of me, but I have very good expectations for the remaining two episodes.
7/10. I'll resist the temptation to give it a 6 because of fondness for a few scenes, because it really was a fairly good episode, but that fondness is keeping me from giving it an 8.
