Well not crucial, but it just make pvp more rewarding.....
Generally just do pvp as soon as cooldown off, as it gives you free energy winning or losing (60% extra on top of normal regain rate). But win and you climb up rank which kinda give you better reward, but cash players probably will drown you with $$$$ anyway ( i thought can get the advantage before they move here). Win also give you extra resources, cash, fp alike. Not much but a good extra bonus.

Edit: and pvp record reset every 2 weeks also. So seriously do constant pvp
