If a show is good from the beginning to the end, there's nothing much to say.
If you understand a show is bad by watching the first episode, well, the show is bad, you forget about it and go watch something else.
But, if a good show turns awfully bad around mid-series, it kinda gives the viewer a bad shock; and discussing it (or bitching about it) is a good way to dispel it (better and less expensive than breaking your monitor
).
