I'm trying to remember which one I played, I believe it was "Nobunaga's Ambition: The Way of Heaven" on PC although I played it without knowing Japanese .. which was a tad difficult. "Iron Triangle" (
http://www.koei.com/irontriangle/) came out for PS2 in North America, but I never played it.
The gameplay reminds me a lot of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series, also by Koei, albeit the combat in Nobunaga is in real time vs. turn based.
I've recently gotten into Total War 2: Shogun because of this series, but that game removes all the historical events.
