It's possible Keima directly mentioned Chihiro in his letter, which is why all the Goddess hosts went on with their normal lives. They may already know and are respecting his decision.

This does not explain why Diana finally got wings in the goddess arc after Tenri read the letter. I doubt friendzoning can have that effect (and Tenri not wanting to show the part addressed at her...).
Seriously, I am indifferent about the outcome of this, but I don't want it to be left hanging, I just don't.
BTW, Keima still has 1 thing he has to do: Chess rematch vs Diana. He has to proove that he really is a god now!
