More likely that there's just a higher concentration of Shiori fans in this thread. Most manga fans are too busy repressing their anger that a first-season appearance of "you know who" has been denied due to wasting too much time on Kanon and Shiori. If you notice, the episode threads activity has dropped since it was revealed in the spoiler thread just how many episodes Shiori is getting...
It could also be that Shiori fans are just more worked up and vocal, since she's also getting much more "discussion" (more like fangirling) on the various
manga-centered threads across the web... MangaFox's spoiler thread in particular is pretty much unreadable...
