My dear Komataguri, let me just remind you of several facts
When Evangelion was released here stateside, the names remained the same. However, when ideas of a live action movie first came up, names were changed during the production phase.
In this case, if they are going to be making a Gundam movie based on the original, who can guarantee they won't alter any characters' names?
Right, I didn't think so
- Tak (As for me, the first live-action gundam was sickening. It almost made me forget why I loved the series)
