I'm kinda under the impression that the problem is Miu was afraid to fully embrace her Dou Ki. The way to use it right is not holding back and not rejecting any aspect of it and just using it. After Kenichi's pep talk now Miu has fully embraced her dou and will have some measure of control... like Apachai...that kinda control...
Ofcourse this is just my interpretation and could be completely wrong...
