mmm, pretty much what the above post says. only more exagerated. anime is unique, there is nothing like it. nothing. period. i'm a weird person who has weird taste in media and anime fits right into that taste, cause its weird as fuck. another reason is that anime can have an ongoing plot for 26 eps like...most of the time with alot of series, while movies are short and non-jap series are mostly episodic.
