Spoiler for length:
*Kha pauses the replay.*
Kha: The 21st likes running into trouble?
Art: Boss, we're always in the thick of things.
Kha: As far as I'm familiar with, I recall spending more time chasing after things than taking them head on.
Art: The only difference is which way the spells are flying, Cap.
Kha: I'll give you that. So now all we have to do is find Glock, and this. What did you cover on the flight back?
Art: Right here Boss.
*Activates the next file*
--------------------------------------
Artei: This is everything then?
Kay: That’s everything on Glock that we have. Right Rey?
Rey: Yes it is.
Artei: At least there’s inflight entertainment.
*Plays audio log 360*
“Glock: The Traitor himself. This is what I knew from the memories he had.”
Artei: Hey, where’s all the love-love parts?
Shinji: Kay asked for the early parts to be omitted for your copy.
Artei: Oh hell n-
Kay: *points Galatea threateningly*
Artei: O-kay then…
*resumes playing*
“Glock: The Traitor was once a Lord, one of several created by the Star Gods after their transformation to lead their undead armies on a campaign of slaughter. Despite losing most of his individuality and his senses, this particular Lord performed exceedingly well, ravaging world after world, desolating thousands of them into barren Tomb Worlds. As such, he was given several unique talents that would assist him in battle, including the ability to wield all of the Necrontyr’s Forbidden Artifacts at once.
Kay: Forbidden Artifacts?
Glock: These refer to the advanced technologies developed by the Necrontyr, weaponized for use in the field. There are eight such Artifacts, some of which Sofia and I are able to wield now.
The Chronometron, Phase Shifter, Lightning Field and Solar Pulse are the artifacts you’ve already seen and categorized. There are four others, including the Resurrection Orb, which was used by the Lord we fought to revive the undead on Megiddo, and the Nightmare Shroud…
Kay: Nightmare… Shroud?
Glock: It’s an artifact that taps into a person’s worse fears, and enhances that person’s receptivity to it. That was the scre…
Kay: *chokes* I know now, please stop.
Glock: I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to.
Kay: *shivering* I should’ve known from the name. This Traitor must’ve been an incredibly powerful being, I understand what they said about “favored” now. But… even with the remnants of his “humanity”, I don’t think he could have the willpower to just suddenly convert against his Gods, even that’s what he wanted in the first place.
Glock: It’s not really that complicated though. It began when he encountered a comparatively small group of explorers several millenia into his campaign. The Lord had encountered and defeated races with powerful psychic abilities, and while technologically less advanced than those other races, this group possessed incredible control of the null-space that existed outside the fabric of space and time; never had they encountered a race able to command nullspace and dimensions on such a scale with ease, and they seem to originate not from the dimension the Necrontyr were in, but in another. The beings they encountered regarded the supposed immortality of the undead Necrontyr with curiouslty and admiration, and actively engaged the Necron-
Kay: Necrons.
Glock: Necrons?
Kay: Necrontyr sounds a bit long-winded. Necrons sound better don’t you think?
Glock: Good point.”
Artei: Necrons huh? Impeccable naming sense Missy.
Kay: Unlike a certain someone I know…
Artei: And who would that be?
Kay: *sighs* Someone I’d rather not have around thank you…
“Glock: Alright, Necrons.
This race, who were known to the Necrons language as the “Yog’Sothoth”, or simply “The Crafters”, engaged them out of their desire to capture “live” Necron for their studies into immortality. The Crafter’s ability to control dimensions rendered their phase shifting tactics useless, and they could not phase out of the battle zone to evacuate their “dead”. “Despite the appalling rise of casualties on both sides, the Crafters succeeded in collecting Necrons for their own ends, including several Tomb Vessels, and the Traitor himself. Satisfied with their claim, and unwilling to lose any more souls to the Necrons, the Crafters left that dimension, and with the Necrons unable to follow them through nullspace, they were safe from further contact with them and their Gods.
They brought their spoils to their home planet, which the Crafters referred to as “El-Hazard”…
Kay: Hold on… El-Hazard…
Oh crap, you don’t mean…
Glock: Yes. The world known as Alhazred.
Kay: The expedition wasn’t so fruitless after all… I can’t believe this…
Glock: Kay, slow down you’re hyperven-
Kay: Less Worry More Talk!!!!!
Glock: *sigh* I was just getting to that.
As a civilization, Alhazred seemed to be extremely similar to current Midchilda society, as far as his memories serve, possessing advanced Magitech on a level similar to our own. The Necron spoils were quickly dismantled and thoroughly examined, their technology studied, analyzed, and reverse engineered; The Lord itself was subjected to the same treatment to better understand the source of the Necron’s incredible regenerative abilities and powers.
The Lord himself did not suffer from all that was done to him, but it was his mission to annihilate the Crafters and claim their life energies for his Gods. These were his… “thoughts” for the next several years he was held in captivity. But a certain experiment would change his existence forever.
Kay: An experiment?
Glock: The Omni Crion. In the language of the Crafters, “Victory over Death”, a project that would aim to use the Necron’s technologies to finally attain immortal life. And their first subject was the Lord himself, for he was considered “dead” at the time of his captivity. They would “revive” him, using newly reverse-engineered Necron technologies.
Kay: I take it they were successful then somehow?
Glock: According to the Crafters, the experiment was successful, as they had managed to “revive” the Lord, giving him the full mental and psychological facilities needed to be classified as “alive”. He would also be given a new body, bioengineered with a longer lifespan and endurance to replace his metallic endoskeleton, to fully make him “alive” in both mind and body.
Kay: The once soulless regaining their minds once again… Oh no…
Glock: With his revival, the Lord once again regained the senses he had lost during his transformation. And he felt only… terror.
Kay: …Having existed as a mindless being for so long… he would’ve felt confused… afraid… unable to comprehend his alien surroundings…
Glock: You understand him somehow?
*silence*
Glock: Don’t worry, I won’t ask you about it.
Kay: Thank you. Please continue, if you don’t mind. I’d like to hear more.
Glock: Of course.
He still had his memories with him though, but his rediscovered emotions conflicted with these memories, and for months he would suffer in anguish and despair, wishing for “the tranquility and purity of death”. The experiments also took a toll on his mentality, for the first time feeling the pain of the procedures performed to him in the wake of his revival.
Kay: As much as I hate to say this, but had I been through his experience, I too would be wishing for death.
Glock: Kay?
Kay: Never mind that… if that’s the case though, how’d he become the Traitor?
Glock: I tell you now why it wasn’t complicated. There was one name that the Traitor kept recalling from his memories of that period, and his most important: Ifureeta van’El.
She was the replacement Head Researcher for Omni Crion after their previous Head committed suicide for reasons unknown. Amongst the Crafters, she was renowned for the knowledge and wisdom that she contributed to their scientific community through decades of service in various fields. And the first thing she did was improve the ethical atmosphere of the research facilities, which included proper treatment for all test subjects, including the Lord, now known as… Iisa.
Kay: *chuckles* After all this Traitor and Lord stuff, I’d never thought he’d get such a cute name...
Glock: Apparently, it was the Crafter’s word for “First”, because of his previous status as the leader of the Necron force they engaged.
Kay: Good enough. I think I’m starting to get the picture with Ifureeta and Iisa here… I don’t think it would be that easy.
Glock: It wasn’t. But it was Ifureeta’s personal involvement with Iisa that gradually grabbed his attention. I don’t think I can tell you that many details as per his request.
Kay: He… requested you to do that?
Glock: He did. But suffice it to say: Her unceasing dedication and endless devotion to his care and his treatment gradually turned him. She slowly restored his sanity and his humanity to him, teaching him to cope with the new world he was in. It was a tediously slow, and often painful process which endangered her life due to Iisa’s unpredictable state, and often she did get hurt, enduring several brutal injuries that horribly disfigured her. It would take her several decades to even get Iisa to trust her.
Over time though, Iisa would slowly, but surely open up the Ifureeta, who never abandoned him despite all that he had done.
The only memory that he would let me divulge in detail was when Ifureeta gave him a surname, as to secure his rights as an individual amongst the Crafters: Iisa van’El.
Kay: … she… just gave her last name to him didn’t she?
Glock: Yes. And it would have a profound effect on Iisa. As I can feel from his memories… it was the first time he felt truly… Alive."

Di immortales! Quid homo dicit?! A Necron romance?! With Ifurita no less!!! Very very touching indeed... Btw, if you picture the dark-haired Ifurita from suxx0rs El Hazard OVA The Wanderers, you'd see... Kha's mother, Kia. That's right, she's related to the El Hazardians too. But that's for the "Knights of the Old Velka" arc, and I'm only bringing it up because what you said reminded me of Kia and Tou, albeit roles reversed, if you guys can still remember them.
Oh boy oh boy this is way exciting! I wonder how did Necro get added to Omni Crion to get Necromnicron? Keep it coming!

A dream...a dream of times of ancient past.
A war-torn era. Suffering. Pain. Sadness. Regret.
The greatest of knights were also the weakest. The human heart is fragile as one carries the weight of lives behind them.
What is...this?

"Let's get married."
"We all wear a mask. There are things people hide, even from ones you love."

From my slumber, I felt a strange feeling. Such a dream...only voices with one vision... and yet it was so vivid, so sad...
What...was that?
Oh, and that picture there, is Saga in his Unison Mode with Null complete with wings. And that little keyblade/Hayate's device rip-off right there is his device.

Short and sweet. Never mind, I think we can cover it alright.
@tshou:
Caro: (hugging Erio, making the other OC lolis fume) It's okay... Don't cry... I'm here.
Erio: Meister...
Kha: (smiling as he turns round to the battered Tais) You know, my Meister taught me that "Tolerance for Stupidity is a must to ensure protect peace in this world."
Tais: Ah-hahaha... I'm glad someone understands--
Yui: What's this I'm detecting from his Core? It's spreading, but there's no physical sign of it...
Kha: (still smiling) And that to enforce that peace the judged have to be dealt accordingly...
Tais: Aha-- Sorry?
Yui: RUN YOU TWIT! HE'S HOLDING AN INVISIBLE SPEAR!!!
Sophia: Was that... what I think it is?!
Artei: Now that you've mentioned it... God Empress help us...
---New intelligence data updated---
AAAAAAAAAAAAAND Here it is, boys and girls! The second liquid Bluecheesium Bomb I prepared to celebrate the 1k post! Prepare to be blown away!
And keep it coming folks! Let's see if we can't clog this thread till the next day!!!
First up, the first release of ZAKUM ZAKUM HOUR as requested by Saint X. Thats right, from the fans of SD Gundam Force comes...
ZAKUM ZAKUM HOUR!!!!!!
Spoiler for Zakum! Zakum!:
(cheesy trumpet theme)
Joh: Hello minna-san!!! I’m G.I. Joh--
Con: And I’m Cona--
Joh: And we’re bringing you yet another exciting episode of
Both: ZAKUM ZAKUM HOUR!!!
Con: More like a minute actually.
Joh: Yeah time sure flies quickly when you’re having fun with us! Tell us, Cona, what are we after this week?
Con: This week, we solve the mystery of CO Kha’s asset evaluation!
Joh: Uso! People’s been saying that he’s as poor as a doornail!
Con: But he never replies in a concrete sense. And after my investigation, I see why.
Joh: Why?
Con: Cash poor, but asset rich! Our ex-CO sinks his money into many things.
Joh: Naruhodo… I remember his office being lined with mech models from the 97th. So what does he have?
Con: We all know he has helped build what possibly is the biggest anime and manga collection in all of the Velka SAR at Artei’s family mansion, but that’s not all! Firstly, he has a private stratofighter!
Joh: Wow you mean those Firehawks from the old War?
Con: Zigzactly! A two-seater first fielded in the Ichor War on the 23rd Administrated Planet Rael in MC 50, Kha since upgraded this fighter with forward-sweeping wings to include 2 articulated 7mm laser CIWS under the forward stabilizers, as well as the A.R.I.K.A. system that we now have on our DreadLord fighters here on the Silvana! He first used it as a boy launching from the decommissioned sandship Thrall to engage Velka radicals on planet Velk, and it has stuck with him since then. Surprisingly, under his hands he has defeated the super-advanced Anatolian Starfighters in simulated dogfights!
Joh: But I believe the same can’t be said of the DreadLords--
Con: Shh! Classified information!
Joh: Oops my bad. What else have you got?
Con: The Velka Carryall 21-Custom is also registered under his name! Sturdier and better shielded than the average Carryall, this heavy equipment shuttle boasts a top speed of 200 kiloparsecs, more than 25% higher than that of the normal variant. Kha has also fitted the shuttle with four 15mm laser CIWS on the flanks, as well as an ECS stealth system perfect for sneaky insertion and extraction.
Joh: I heard them calling their beloved ship the Blackbird, but I think something happened to her recently.
Con: Yes indeed. Blackbird was heavily damaged in Kha’s most recent mission, and while details were classified, the technician repairing the craft said that the Cleric had practically flown the Carryall straight into a hot zone. He was very surprised that Blackbird made it back at all
Joh: Thus another great example of credits well spent! Anyway, I’m sure Kha does have non-military assets?
Con: I guess there goes his office. But for civilian things, he has a private cabin by Lake Lovecroft where he goes to meditate and “practice”, though recently it’s been turned into a Zakum Trooper hangout.
Gard: That’s what you get for being too kind, that guy. (laughs)
Both: Sir!
Gard: Never mind me. Carry on with the radio show! Sure beats listening to Admiral Windbag talking about bla bla bla…
Con: And Kha recently bought a Car! Here’s a picture of his picking up Fate and rookies Caro and Erio from Riot 6 base.
Joh: Aw… A happy family… Know what that vehicle is?
Con: From the curves, it looks like the Terran brand Toyota Canberra GT, but with MC materialization technology to close the hood when it rains of course! Knowing Kha, he probably modified beyond its original specs. Even he himself didn’t know, I quote, “how fast it could go with afterburners deployed, or when transformed into Battleroid mode”
Joh: Afterburners? BATTLEROID?!
Con: Oh dear look at the time! That’s all we have for today! Be sure to catch us next time as we bring you the latest gossip behind the many interesting characters both on and off the Silvana!
Joh: You know you can’t be wrong when you’re listening to
Both: ZAKUM ZAKUM HOUR!!!
(cheesy trumpet theme)
And that's not all! Here's the "Surprise" I've been planning since... Dunno when!
Spoiler for Ultimate Unison, SHOUNIN!:
Minerva: Recording started 29-2-MC 0074
Kha is airborne in Jaegerform outside the Silvana over Lake Lovecroft. They are testing a new weapon system.
Sakura: Misaki! Hurry up! I dying to start!
Kha: Who’s Misaki?
Sak: It’s E’Jaedinea’s AI’s name. We just decided it the other day.
Kha: And that’s okay with you?
Mis: Ano… It’s a nice name, and Jaedinea is a mouthful in human tongue so…
Kha: You yield to Sakura and she’ll climb all over you.
Cha: (Joins the radio chatter) She already has.
Kha: Hi Chacha.
Cha: Hi. Now stay out of trouble you got that, Sakura? This is going to be a live recording of the test to be downloaded into you you know, so if you don’t want to be stuck with me and Auntie for debugging again, behave yourself.
Sak: Yes, Chacha! Wii~~
Kaempfer: I’m launching, Meister.
Kha: Okay position yourself over there… Nice.
Min: Are we all set?
Kha: Where’s Nagato?
Headless suit of armor “stares” back from the distance.
Kha: How does she do that without a head in real life is a big question… Minerva, Captain, test subjects ready.
Kyla: Roger that. CC, is the scenario loaded into the holoprojector?
CC: It’s loaded Captain.
Kyla: Got it. All personnel, stand by!
3 Ship AIs: Standby ready!
Kyla: Commence Test Serial 163-D! (raises and points dramatically while yelling)
ULTIMATE UNISON, SHOUNIN!
CC: Roger! Releasing limiter on mana charge laser… Complete!
Min: Zaku 1-3 Core Release sequence initiate!
Cha: Unison systems all green!
CC: (raises fist) Program… (slams into holo generated on her console) DRIVE!
Mis: Ano… Assemble Drivers, install! Ejecting… (Linker Core ejects and shapes into a translucent girl spirit)
Kaempfer: Letting go. (Jettisons device and Knight Armor)
Nagato: Variable Formation. (jettisons armor and glowing Core transforms into a one-colored version of her digital avatar)
Kha: Unison reaction, activate! (starts glowing as spare addons to his armor fire off) Tausend Kreuz, Bankai!
Sak: (dissolves her Unison device knight armor and turns into spirit-like form like the other AI and screams)
YOOSHA!!! ULTIMATE UNISON!
Kha disappears into a blue transformation bubble as he summons a massive swirl of mana as Tausend Kreuz twirls away. He floats in a crucifix pose, like how he does in henshin. The 3 AI “spirits burst in one after another and circle around him as they continue charging their individual Unison systems with his mana. Once complete, they turn into shapeless energy and plunge into the shining mage, Sakura fusing first after embracing his arm, Nagato through his chest, and Misaki coming from below.
Cha: Kor Fuzion complete!
CC: Activating Armor Slaver! Zaku 1-3 responding…
Kha somersaults backward into the transfigurating ZAKU and lock himself in as it turned to a strange looking piece of metal.
His car Canberra speeds down the street on autopilot as Firehawk thunders into view.
Min: Right on time! Stage 2, Stage 3, Armor Slaver activate!
Firehawk folds in half and transforms into what looks like a headless upper torso. Canberra hit the jumpjets and flies over the Lake, hood flipping down into shins, exposing the thighs, butt folding outwards into lower arms. Firehawk’s hull plates shifted into shoulders and upper arms as the car docked to form the waist and lower torso. The lower arms slid upwards and docked to the upper with the loud “clunk, clunk” of the elbow joint connecting.
Cha: Stage 2 and 3, Fusion complete!
Min: Core Block, join-laser activate! Mana Laser fire!
With that, the back of Firehawk broke up like a device changing modes, exposing a crevass. Kha’s “Block” flies in and fires blue mana beams that guide it in. Once it slammed into place with a bang, the Silvana’s mana charging laser fires. Inside, Kha’s brightens as the master-slave console boots up, displaying the letters Z.A.K.U. before cursors shoot off to the right spelling the words as “Zodiac Automated Kreuz Unison” and appending “Complex”. Meanwhile, the various spaces left by the transformation were being filled device-style, blocks coming together, clamping into place. The feet slide out and part; the hands spin out like a drill; the bald head popped out, and with that parts gathered and slammed into place, forming the helm and multi-bladed V-fin.
Kha: Sakura! Assemble Tausend Kreuz!
Outside, the Armed Device’s core grew, and grew. Then, like when she was smaller, she crackled blue lightning as it drew parts of her complete self together. The trigular halves of the her spearhead, attracted by the lightning, clanged audibly onto her face, followed closely by the covers for her horizontal vents. Her cylindrical neck extended out from the spearhead, and the 16-cartridge Metal Storm barrel block slotted into the gap on the neck below spearhead as the pistol grip, positioned at right angles to the plane of the spearhead, glided along the groove and locked into place just under the vent covers with a puff of sparks. The tail end of the cross clunked into a smaller triangular joint that hid another smaller beam emitter within its pinched halves.
Kha flexed a little, and Stahlmut reached out and grabbed the spear.
Sakura: DAI-
And swung it up to its shoulder.
Sakura: -STAHL-
Before lashing with so much force that it released a massive pulse of mana that caused the water behind it to explode into temporal geysers.
Sakura: -MUT!!!
Kha: Since when was there a Dai in front of “Stahlmut”?
Sak: Yare, yare! A good super robot must have a 3 syllable name.
Kyla: How is it?
Kha: Looks good, everything’s stable. The mana laser provided the power needed to complete the extensive armor transmutation as planned, and Stahlmut doesn’t look like he’s going to fall apart any time soon.
Sakura: For the last time, its Dai-Stahlmut!!!
Kha: No need to shout when you’re IN me!!! Okay whatever, Dai-Stahlmut doesn’t sound too bad.
Cha: I don’t believe this! The output of the machine is way above expected… In fact, it far exceeds the parameters set! Must be all that divine power infused into the system.
Sak: Wii~~ Once we’re in this we’re invincible!
Kha: Man I can’t stop grinning…
Sophia: Well Captain I see you’re having fun. Let’s see, that took… 3 mins? In which the enemy would’ve pounded your individual butts to pieces.
Kha: …
Sak: Hey!
Mis: Na…
Nag: I see 70% probability of this procedure being impractical.
Sak: Not you too!
Art: Sofy, Sofy… You must appreciate the beauty of things sometimes you know. This means a lot to the Captain after all.
Kha: Well… In a while, this is a dream come from true, from since when I was little…
Sof: I’d rather you use that form than this hulk when it really comes down to it.
Kha: But if I do so, you’ll be in danger! I cannot have you take the risk!
Sof: (momentary dere reaction, then gets tsun to cover up) Gah! Don’t say I didn’t warn you, Baka! (storms off)
CC: That’s a wrap. Remember Kha, this Unison mode is very complicated and energy consuming to activate, so you can only do this with the Silvana in range, got that?
Kha: Roger out. Let’s go celebrate with some dinner, shall we? I think I owe Sofie an apology somehow.
Art: (shrugs) So says the one who said “You yield to her and she’ll crawl all over you.”
Talk about high on Bluecheesium. Man that was almost completely outside of canon... Stahlmut means Steel Courage in "Germahn", otherwise known as Babelfish German. And look at the amount of super mecha references there; SRW was in passing, Dai-Layzer, Gundam and GGG for the finish. I initially had Voltron and DaiRaijin inside, but I scrapped the former because it disrupted the flow, and left the Dairaijin's base transformation at the AX base... Anyone notice the small Code Geass ref there? It's suppose to hint at the Kha = Zero joke from the epi threads.
The first part of the transformation is the boring bit IMO, and is used most often. Called the Trinity Unison, it involves Kha reconfiguring his Casshern KA after Sakura, Misaki and Nagato fuse with him. Rein 1, when summoned by Sophia, and Rein 2, as canon delightful reveals possible, can fuse with him for even more power, which he calls Supreme Symbiosis. His disperse Linker Core has enough room to allow for such fusion, though it is rumored that Hayate can fuse with all of her Knight and Rein 2 at the same time...
Now Supreme Symbiosis with Stahlmut is called... Genesic Dai-Stahlmut?
Yes I AM nuts from typing for 4 hours...
