I wouldn't bet money on it, either. I also think it has a low chance of happening. But it's not flat-out
impossible. It wouldn't
shock me if the story went this way. The novel writer obviously enjoys writing Nagato, and has left room to have the novels believably end on KyonxYuki, if he so desires.
