Yes, and what a wonderful moody pice the episode was. There's some much needed threads being pulled together with most of the characters taking a step back and while getting, or trying to view themselves in the big picture of things. Good stuff.
Favourite moment was probably the Aeru/Nevi scene at the pool. Aeru opening up and cracking in that manner somehow felt extremely
relieving, in that we get to see that she isn't some complete in/superhuman bulldozer after all. And Nevile once again sees herself in the mirror and grows a bit, though the most notable thing is that she, while treading carefully, really
opened up with
emotions towards someone.
Floe crying so openly was a surprise, but I guess she's never been one to hide her emotions or thoughts about other people, as stupid as they at times may be. Really well done and contrasting with the rest of the chor who just stood there silent in their thoughts.
Alti and her Rapists-anonymous meet with Paraietta. Well, their respective relationships have always been played in a parallel manner, so it only makes sense for them to become full circle in that way. Still wishing to see Caimu confront Alti too about the issue, though - There's an apology to be expected from both directions.
Yun. I particulary found her expressions in this episode very interesting. Recall her expression in the church when she gets ready to explain to Floe/the rest in the church that "people die in war yaddayadda" - She initially turns towards Floe/the coffin to speak, but then quickly turns her gaze away from it to the roof before opening her mouth. Makes me once again think that she's forcing herself to be all pent and locked up in order to not be hurt 'for the better of it'. Ow.
The Onashia scenes were also peculiar, because Yun seemed to have such a look of bewilderment or honest surprise there - like a little kid witnessing something incredible for the first time. It all makes me wonder what exactly is all that there is, and more over what exactly there is hidden, to this stoic child of a Knightgirl that evidently was forced to grow up too fast?

But this ep gave me a little hope for Neviril-Aaeru line.
I think Neviril began to see Aaeru as she is, not as Amuira's painful reminder,
which, I guess, means she will open her mind to Aaeru.

I think, potential pairings aside, that they'll grow into people who really can
understand each other - The kind of understanding that doesn't need words for expression. You just know. The other person knows. There's no need for talk, for it runs so deep.

AS, the general graphic director, commented about this scene in her blog.
The ep 18 eyecatch presented Angulas holding hands with someone.
According to AS, another hand in it was Mamina's.
She said she didn't want to leave her alone, so let Angulas receive her.

;_;
As for the end of the episode... I wouldn't be surprised at all if the Enemy priestesses' would pick up her body and give her a proper burial. They were rather fond of her, after all. Though we probably won't be seeing any of that - The final image in the flower bed is very good for ... a final image ;_;
As for Mr. Frankenplush - I bet it's sitting in a hut there "on the other side", watching while Rimone & Dominura are sipping coffee in the morning table & discussing the weather.
...Or alternatively, Rimone and Dominura didn't go to 'another world' but instead entered a time warp and it will be revealed next episode that
they're actually Aeru's parents! . So, any takes on who'd be which parent in such a situation?
Or wait, perhaps her 'uncle' actually is Rimone who took the guise of a relative instead of parent after Dominura passed away!
IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW! .
...Alright, I'll stop with the silly
. But it was a rather evil tease to show the plush at the end and then just cut back...
