While overall Kannazuki no Miko both felt and looked cheesy to me, it was the chemistry between Chikane -><- Himeko <- Oogami that made the story so engaging.
The cheesiness worked well on me because at that time I was done with some anime with dark and cruel theme plots (e.g. Elfen Lied), and I needed something quite bright in its theme to refresh me.
I do not know if KyoToSora will induce the same effect on me like KnMiko did, since I'm watching many shounen-adventure anime than dark ones.
But I'll give it a try, nonetheless, as long as the chemistry among the characters becomes more intricate than in Kannazuki.
