I'm trying, but like I said, it ends up being too pretentious. I mean, "Midchilda" and "Belka" are not, as far as I know, references to anything. "Al Hazard" is a weird case, since I don't know
where it first came from, or if has anything to do with the Lovecraft mythos (Abdul Alhazred and such).
Besides, if it's too obvious, I'm sure that
someone will catch on, which leads to too many inconvenient questions about why the 97th Non-Administered World has a myth which happens to turn up as the name of a lost magic system.
And yes, definitely more books. More TV if you really feel like it, but definitely more books.
