Frankly, I was disappointed in this latest chapter. Berserker let Kenichi escape so he could've Miu that little pep-talk that broke her out of her trance. Seriously disappointing. If I was Berserker, I wouldn't have let him escape unless he's taken me down, he's definitely no Ulquiorra, that's for sure. Really a let-down.

Berserker probably realised that as long as Miu is fighting close by, Kenichi won't give him his full attention and thus not fight seriously. So he decides to let Kenichi help Miu and then fight the serious him, Ryuusui Seikuken got his attention. That's how I interpret this.
