He created each of the Rozen Maiden with a flaw that they have to overcome to become Alice. Shinku is a snob because she believes Father seemed to show favoritism to her by giving her a pendant. Souseiseki is blinded by her loyalty (she always wants to play the Alice game at every opportunity). Suiseiseki is... she's love, but she's hides her true feelings by lying (sorry I can't think of anything else). Hinaichigo hates responsibility. Kanaria believes she's the smartest of the dolls when in fact she's not the smartest. Kirakishou is simply insane (OMG! Is there hope for Kira? No).
