To me, a crossover is strictly an idea where two different universes collide by some means of plot device and the characters interact with each other. It's true that "Wolf's Moonlight" and that
other fic were heavily inspired by Wolf's Rain and Black Cat, respectively, but I hardly count them as crossovers.
