I already said it. The only two ways Kurumu and Mizore can end up, to prevent there from being angst in the ending which there should not be, is either with Tsukune in the harem, or with each other. Of course there's always the third option of having each of them find some new guy to love out of the blue, but that would just SUCK. So again, since it doesn't look like this series is going in the harem ending direction, the only other GOOD option is for the mangaka to use that kiss as a plot/character development point so they could develop feelings for each other and end up so happy together (bah bah bah baahhh)
Not to mention it'd be brave of him, since that's not something I've seen in other shounen series I've read.
