But there's a different implication between buying it as governor of Tokyo and as an individual. Buying it as governor means that Tokyo is claiming senkaku as part of tokyo and Japan while buying it as individual(and buying using puppet company) doesn't imply any country claiming the island, although we all know Chinese government might actually not care about the islands possesion at all beside the natural resource under it lol
