Never even considered that before.
Haruhi's embarrassed simply over the thought of being caught putting her cardigan on Kyon. I really think that's it.
We're not talking about Tsuruya here, who would just consider this a mildly caring gesture that doesn't need to mean much beyond that. With Haruhi, though, something like this is a
significant gesture. It's enough on its own to make her feel embarrassed.
