Got that feeling too. Im going to still hold out little hope tho. That kind of sucks seeing someone like that who liked a person like that for a long time and it ends like that in animes. That's why I really hope she survive(somehow).About her Feelings toward Shu I have the impression that she knows too well she not have chance. I mean Shu know about her felling (we see in ep 11 or 10 ) so. I think is very clear who will be the canon couple in this show(O who will end up with Shu)
