I was anticipating this title because of what I
hypothesized. I saw episode 01 a few days ago. Not too far off from my expectations. First episode was very touching. I can understand Lothar's complaint. Using this premise of Momo the Death God doing her job, let's hope every story has a different message.
I really like Momo already. How she does her job in a staid facade, but afterwards, she sheds tears of sorrow for him and the cat (this tale in general). This gives me a grasp of Momo's character. She appears to be astute and wise from the responsibility of her job as a Death God, but inside, she is perhaps more tender and innocent. I think I may have a thing for this kind of contrast and juxtaposition in (female) characters.
I made a GIF:
Sorry Catgirls, for this was just too cute (and poignantly symbolic).
