We all know he does in fact like Hina a lot and a slight crush on Maria. In the past chapter whoever ask Hayate if he like Hina or not he act really surprise and brush.

BTW, just finish reading 222 in chinese scan. Hina was thinking, do I want to be love, to help you, or kick that guy ass.
