I see your point, I dont quite agree with it.... but there is some logic to it.
But my main problem with this entire issue is, that neither Kanna, nor Tetsuro should have confessed their feelings to a person who obviously is not interested. It just creates tension and complicates everything.
But it would seem it is the japanese culture to always confess your feelings to the person you love even though there is no point to it. What they are trying to achieve with it is beyond my ability to understand and I stopped trying to figure it out too.
